Job Purpose: To oversee and manage all involvement in internal and external marketing for Trevors Foodservice. To oversee and manage all involvement with the Online ordering platforms, with the aim being to increase online sales, keeping customers online and ensure customers have the best online journey possible at Trevors Foodservice, whilst always having a proactive approach to the task at hand and improving the customers experience.
Function: The planning, development and achievement of company objectives in relation to marketing and E-commerce platforms.
Reports To: The Directors
· Oversee all aspects of the Marketing and E-commerce department, taking ownership in full.
· Present detailed ideas of improvements that need to be implemented or actioned on either the Marketing or Ecommerce side, to the Directors of the business.
· Continuously review the marketing strategy and amend if needed.
· Oversee and approve marketing material, from website banners to hard copy and everything in between.
· Develop Creative and Engaging social media strategies, working with our suppliers to execute marketing plans to a deadline.
· Oversee maintenance of our Online Ordering Platforms, ensuring the best experience possible for the users.
· Coming up with ways to move customers online and implementing, without hesitation, as long as financially viable.
· To ensure the customers online / digital journey is as good as can be and continuously improving it.
· Ensuring that the latest technology is being used for maximum efficiency and effectiveness and propose technology implementation to the Directors.
· Looking at trends and other members of our buying group and foodservice suppliers within the sector and seeing how we can improve to become a more attractive choice for the caterer.
· Managing the budget.
· Consistent tracking of online progression and reporting into the Directors.
· Manage the marketing department to ensure Trevors is up to date with market trends online and ensuring we have a strong presence online.
· Explore the functionality of our ERP system for improvement work to be carried out to improve online customer conversion / retention and customer journey improvements.
· Oversee and plan content using scheduling tools.
· Increase traffic to the company’s website and online ordering platforms
· Manage and oversee all marketing campaigns and creative development promotional materials, website content, advertisements and other marketing related projects.
· Leading by example within the wider Trevors Foodservice Team.
· Look to the future, analyse and implement future proof solutions to ensure continued growth within the mentioned fields.
· Assist the business with reporting and tracking of Sustainability measures and reviewing company sustainability policy in line with trends and market requirements.
· Proven experience in developing marketing plans and campaigns
· Proven experience in identifying target audiences and in creatively devising and leading across channels marketing campaigns that engage, educate and motivate
· Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics)
· Proven experience in written and verbal communication skills
· Experience in setting up and optimising campaigns
· Numerically literate, comfortable working with numbers, making sense of metrics and processing figures with spreadsheets
· Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
· Strong project management, multitasking, and decision-making skills

· Data driven marketing mind with eye for creativity
· Experience with marketing automation and CRM tools
· Experience in social media including Instagram, Facebook and Twitter
· Good time management skills
· BSc/MSc degree in Marketing is desirable but not required.
· Excellent attention to detail · Excellent literacy and numeracy skills and proficiency using relevant IT software (Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook).
· Previous experience in marketing

£35k - £45k per year dependent on experience
