Job Description
We’re looking for a driven and customer-focused professional to take ownership of a thriving sales territory. In this role, you’ll be responsible for:
- Managing and growing relationships with an established portfolio of customers
- Driving new business opportunities across a wide range of products, including Ambient, Chilled, Frozen, Fresh, Drinks, Cleaning, and Non-Food lines
- Maximising profitability and achieving ambitious sales and GP targets in line with company goals

Key Duties
Account Management
- Grow and nurture relationships with an existing customer ledger
- Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities across product ranges (Ambient, Chilled, Frozen, Fresh, Drinks, Cleaning & Non-Food)
- Anticipate customer needs, ensuring retention and satisfaction
- Handle customer queries and complaints with professionalism
- Take customer orders when required
Business Growth & Prospecting
- Proactively target new leads, dormant accounts, and down-trading customers
- Develop and deliver a tailored business growth plan for your territory
- Manage your pipeline effectively to hit ambitious sales and GP targets
Administration & Reporting
- Maintain accurate visit records and contact notes
- Ensure compliance across sales, promotional, and marketing activity
- Monitor and report competitor activity
- Support the accounts function when needed
Key Skills
- Proven track record in sales (Foodservice experience highly desirable)
- A proactive, self-starting attitude with excellent time-management skills
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build long-term relationships
- Professional appearance and approach (including company car & equipment)
- A true team player, collaborating with fellow sales executives and telesales colleagues
